deko selber machen vintage

hey guys, i hope you're all right, it's tinkering-time again, namely a do it yourself i hope you like it, we're going to make a jewelry-stand today for earrings i already made this one yesterday, and today we're going to make one out of this pretty frame alright, what do you need? firs of all, you'll need a frame. the one i've got was a frame for a mirror this works with a picture frame as well then you'll need some kind of decoration ribbon usually you would wrap gifts with it, kinda looks like a gauze bandage

then you'll need a stapler, worked pretty well, when i tried it yesterday but as a backup, i've got some nails and a hammer and then, for the finish, to make it look nicer and a bit vintage i've got silver paint and some glitter i wonder what it will look like in the end! first, turn around the frame take your ribbon, and measure generously how much you'll need and cut off three stripes

you can do it by guessing, that's what i'm doing, but if you have have a big frame and you need more stripes then it's best, to measure it but with a frame that small, it's perfectly fine to do it by judging the measurements then, take your stapler and keep the ribbon tight because we're going to put stuff on it later so keep it as tight as possible i was a bit afraid, when i tried it for the first time, yesterday

it's pretty loud dry-fire. that didn't work and again well.. nails and hammer it is. second try i bought these small nails, i might hit my fingers, we'll see good, it works perfectly with the nails i flipped the ends over to strengthen them

okay, guys. the frame looks like this, now i think it already looks pretty cool, because the ribbons have a bit of white colour on them but, i said we're going to make it look a bit more vintage and that's why it's time for our silver paint it's acrylic paint, but like i said, i'll put everything in the description. even the size of the nails, if you want it's important the silver is not too shiny. looks pretty good let's go! if i may say so, this looks way better than just plain white i would leave it like that, but i bought the glitter and have to try it!

not too much it mustn't look taky i'll use the sponge now to glue the glitter to the frame that's it guys! the jewlery stand is done! i think it looks really cool, especially with the silver paint and glitter i'll definitely upload some photos to instagram, pinterest and facebook what i wanted to say, the ribbon has small holes in it, so the jewelry sticks to it pretty good it's super easy to attach your earrings then, i'd like to know which one of the frames you like best, please let me know in the comments

they're both pretty cool, but quite different in style lastly, i'll be happy if you subscribe to my channel and leave a thumbs up 'til the next time, byebye!
